I have had a short under my dash where all wires live on the ignition switch.
I need to take it all apart and investigate it.
Anyone have any helpful hints as to what to do and what not to do in the process?
I suspect I will need to replace my ignition switch, as it has been weird ever since the bike completed restoration....some 750 miles ago. Every time I have started it, then went to click the switch over to turn on the headlight...if I don't get it just right, the bike will die.
Yay
Thanks
china re pop switches do just that -- BUT i would take the top dash off and look under it for a burn spot from a wire being bent the wrong way / or the switch plate itself might be a china part not an OEM and see it it was put together correctly - need more info guessing on what you have or dont have -- jz
