I have the same problem occasionally, and I've also seen others mention it. It'll happen in some threads, and not in other threads, at the same time of day. The problem threads retain the problem, even a day later, after being refreshed.

Once you notice it, please post the thread link in here so we can have a look and try to solve this issue...
Happened to me a couple times. I quoted another thread that worked from that poster (was easily available both times) and cut and pasted the post I wanted in that one, replacing the text not needed. Just takes a little more time, and hopefully this problem will get resolved before it gets more widespread.
I tried as well and for me the "reply with quote" button (next to the "edit button") works as it should.
After reading your response I gave it another try - the post above mine which brings up a blank text block when hitting the quote button still does just that, but if I use the quote button on my own post or the post above the one I wanted to quote, the quoted text and link to the post appear as normal.
It is quite possible that it is something on my side, but how do we track it down.
