I'm so sick of the stupid pop up ads. It's too bad that YOUR sponsors are keeping me off your site! I don't visit as often and usually log off in disgust!
Your sponsors are killing you!

I have an ad blocker on my browser and I NEVER see any pop ups. And there's a sticky about pop ups in the section above.

I bet they would accept donations to reduce the amount of sponsors to keep this site running.

As posted earlier, there is a sticky about how to take care of bothersome pop-ups posted above. Pop-ups don't bother me one bit but like with any other forum, the door swings both ways, have a nice day.

Chrome works. Just don't check it to be the prominent browser if you want to keep the one you are using now. Then associate this with it. Not user if using adblock and explorer will work. Know for sure even on Verizon high speed internet with explorer and their popup block set, this site craws . Once I understood the set up, I killed explorer. Hard to believe Chrome can be better then Microsoft (but it is for me and I started with DOS and configuring the first CD drive was an all day job).

I come to this site on Chrome as well, Chrome seems to be much faster on all the sites I visit and stream movies from. I went to AdBlockPlus website and downloaded the add on, it is wonderful. You still get to see the ads and sponser ads on the side (I am glad they are there I support them first) but it as blocked the pop ups that are so bothersome.

On the Android phone, you can go get the mobile version of ad blocker Plus also, however due to the technology on the the mobile devices it only works while on WiFi, not the softwares fault but the way the technology works.

For my iPhone I down loaded from the app store and installed webblock. There was a small charge of like $1.99 but well worth it for the annoyance and to encourage people to write more useful applications. Again this only works when on WiFi though, and blocks the pop ups and is very customizable.

Lastly I do agree, free web site to us, but it costs bunches of money to run and the thousands of dollars saved in advice and others helping well makes it worth donations. A simple $5.00 a month donation if everyone did that there would be a lot less ads. Less that we blow on ATM fees, a pack of smokes, or soda's.
