But it's closed. Frequently I end up in some archaic thread that is featured on the related threads mobile browser feature, which is old and should have been closed years ago. What is the criteria for closing threads?
It's up to the admin or mod closing it. If it goes off track or breaks some rules it may be closed. If it's a duplicate or offensive it may be closed. There are many reasons. There are no set rules except this one:
15. Moderators and Administrators have final word in anything and everything. If you have a problem or a complaint direct it to them, not to the general forums. They will then take the appropriate actions. This applies to issues with the forum in general, as well as issues with other members. Do not attack a Moderator or an Admin on the open forum. If your thread or post is pulled by a Moderator/Admin do not start another thread or post on the same topic. Violation of this rule may cause immediate banning from HDForums. If you have a problem with a Moderator then you need to work it out with them via pm's, email or contact an Admin.
I'm not complaining about any of the moderators. I'm just wondering why that thread was closed. There was no conflict on it, and it was a useful thread.
If any moderator wants to say why it was closed, I would appreciate it.
Ron Start a new one...The best of "Part Duo".......
Some Great stuff in the last one...Winter is coming...Fast in some areas...
Time for a good laugh...I'm sure most of the Mods would agree to that,PLUS most of them will have a lot to do....Like Shovel...
If the topic was brought to a conclusion then it's a dead topic. But still available in the search for reference.
You can start a new thread with the same topic, and attach a link to the old post.
