Default Where Do I Lodge A Moderator Issue?

Look, I'm not trying to be a wise *** but I'm beginning, no strike that, I am continually seeing what I would classify as moderator over zealousness in interference with legitimate on line discussion. Being a Harley forum, I would expect most discussion to be based around Harleys themselves but in a more broad sense being based around motorcycling itself. This would include riding issues, maintenance issues, news concerning other brands of bikes and the such.

Now, what could possibly be the problem of having more than one thread about ANY one issue? Something is allowed to be mentioned only once and then condemned because of a second thread? No other brands of bikes are allowed to be talked about?

I realize that I am but a lowly member of this site with "limited" rights but I'm beginning to feel that my right to speak is being based solely on a moderators right to censure that speech. I would imagine that this thread may not make it to publication but quite possibly this sentiment need to be read by a current moderator.

I am of the opinion that you guys (or guy) need to lighten up a bit and go with the flow. If you want to keep your current flock of active participants please give them more "elbow room" to be the individuals you need for them to remain to be to keep this forum fresh and active.

What sense is there in having 5 or 6 identical threads going on? It just takes up bandwidth. Instead of starting a new thread on a subject people need to look to see if it's already being discussed and join in that thread. If you are referring to the Indian threads, they were all over the site in places they didn't belong. They were all moved to Off Topic which is where non-HD threads belong. At the suggestion of another member. I have merged them all into one thread. Feel free to post there if it pleases you.

No problem. We want everyone to enjoy the forums, but when you can't find something you want to read because there are a half dozen or more threads on one subject, that upsets people too.

Bandwidth and multiple threads makes sense, When i posted, i had searched and did not see a single thread, wanting to know what other harley guys thought, i posted. In all consideration, i spend more time riding then reading and did not know all of these other thread areas existed, good to know. Just felt rubbed the wrong way being censored. There are other harley forums i could go to but i chose this one, never been censored before, not digging that. I can understand so many threads on the same topic................

You weren't censored. Your thread is in Off Topic merged with the other 7 Indian threads. It was moderated.
