How can I respond to a post without subscribing to it?

Every time I post, I get emails when someone else posts, and I have to go to the 'user cp' and 'delete subscriptions'.

Annoying, but there must be something simple I can do to fix it.

 

There is a protocol in your user control panel that you can uncheck to stop it.
