My question is, where is the notification when you are thanked for a post. I know you can see a tally of giving and receiving on your own post.
Without searching back to the post you are not made aware of being thanked and by whom. so is this serving a purpose other than to show a new reader you were thanked?
In your case, if you click on the "34 posts", you'll see a list all of your THANKS. Just click on the POST and not the THREAD. It'll take you to the post you made and on the bottom of your post, who thanked you. For instance...Looks Like A Liberal...Fat Tony thanked you.
As for a notification, I've never seen one but that doesn't mean there's not one.
I know how to search and see. without an instant notification similar to when a subscribed thread gets a new post, I see little value then in thank someone who does not know unless they keep checking the thanks. at least it should be like PM messages pop up when you log in.
I get that it does not exist. Thanks for reply. (I clicked a thanks)
Well, I wasn't sure what you knew or didn't know, that's why I explained it like I did. No offense. But I get what you're saying about getting a notification.
