Can't edit my posts

how come the edit button isnt available in my for sale post? i had a list of items in one post and would like to delete off the few items i have sold so ppl stop asking about em. thanks in advance.

I don't see an edit button on your posts.
If it is available to you why can't you go in and edit then?

The mods instituted a timer on the edit feature. Once that time is expired, you can no longer edit.

As an ex-forum moderator myself, this new policy puzzles me. Who cares what gets edited?

The edit option is only available for 4 hours after the post is made. After that, only a Moderator can edit a post.

And it was IT Dept. that changed the edit option...Moderators had nothing to do with it.

Seems silly. Looks like a way to cause more threads to be started cuz ppl can't edit

Yes, but you know mods always catch all the heat.
It really should go away. It's a bad policy.

Yeah...good or bad, we hear it. I was told it used to be set at 4 hours but was reset to no time limit. I agree with you, no time limit would be easier. Oh well...

There was a recent post where they reduced the amount of time the edit button appears...I believe it's 24-hrs & gone...??
