The link actually works fine in Microsoft Edge. The problem is the link doesn't work with Microsoft Edge when the link is embedded in the HDForums post.
When I click on the link in the below site (click on RESOURCES tab), it works fine.

I don't do html, xml, etc., so I can't guess about that. I wonder if Edge has a setting that affects a pdf link in a post. And when you said it doesn't display "properly", what does it do?

@cficole The website displays the following message:
The link you clicked on is malformed. Contact the editor of the originating page.
Can Edge retrieve the pdf if you right-click on the link, and save or download?
No. When I try to right-click to save, I get a "monetize.htm" link. HDforums re-writes the links using rediect.viglink.com.
If I "Inspect" the link via the browser, it works fine.
As I mentioned previously, Edge browser works fine when I use the JP Cycles webpage and click on this link.

Sounds like Edge is the odd man out; it doesn't work and play well with forum links. I got nothing. Good luck.
