the revisions are not yet complete, but the missing navigation is something we did not catch. will resolve ASAP.
we also have a project in the works which will enable you to filter forums out of the ‘new posts’ shortcut.
Put it back the way it was ASAP. That'll solve a lot of problems. It's a Harley forum, not a Welcome/Livewire forum. It should start with:
General Harley Davidson Chat. then
General Topics/Tech Tips. and so on in order of importance.
This is too reminiscent of the last screw up when somebody made QOTR the focal point of the forum. Things here seem to be running too much like government. It's either one person making all the wrong decisions or too many cooks spoiling the stew by giving the least important areas the highest priority.
I wish Rushmore was not a sub forum of Touring, and had its own sub under Motorcycles or was gone altogether. Of all the changes they made, they still have that jacked up IMO
It's 2022 guys, 8 years of the platform should warrant its own section under HD Motorcycles.
Most guys still just post in Touring, not even noticing the Rushmore sub forum in that section.
It gets way less traffic and I would venture to say most of the current, active touring bike posters here now have a '14 or newer
I was always told that Rushmore didn't include 2017-present touring bikes... I don't agree with that, but there's been quite a bit of debate over this that doesn't make sense. I personally go to the Rushmore forum if I have questions about my 2017 street glide or just want to browse touring-related content because the Touring forum is full of older bikes that don't have much commonality with my 2017.
@Robb M. Could the Rushmore forum description clear up the confusion I mentioned above? I'd think something like "2014 & up touring discussion" would suffice. Maybe also adjust the Touring forum description to say "Pre-2014 touring discussion".
