Can you take a PIX of it on your computer and then upload it here?

Also, would that icon or emoticon or whatever it is be in this list? See below.
.

.
Can you click on that smiley face. THEN click on the emoticon in that list. If (if) if what you are referring to is even in there?

Thanks for the reply! I checked the smilies, etc...

It feels like a place holder for text no longer available or something...

Let's try this:

Yeah. Could be. Saw that earlier today my friend. Not my bailiwick. Will monitor this thread. Maybe you and me both can learn something.

Robb is the expert around this here place. He'll likely mosey by soon 'nuff.

Good morn' bbmach, I got some headway here. Though I have seen it elsewhere, I just found it by doing this........

If you say "Reply" to this post, then go to the bottom of the reply, there is an option to give your reply an icon. See below.
.
.
If you let your cursor rollover the icon of interest, it will pop up what the icon is. Like for that icon, it will be "Post". For the icon below it, the red angry face bbmach, it will pop up "Angry" I think it was.

Feel free to try it here. Click on "Reply" or in a forum or subforum click on "New Thread", you will also see it below.

Give it a go if you like...........

I've been reading and researching and was thinking I was missing posts. Good to know...

Gd. Dunno abt ur question above. I really do not think it makes a diff if u have that icon or not. Post a question my friend, there will be replies.

The icon just seems like a nice, fun thing. But no bearing on replies. IMO.

All else GOOD?

An (embarrassing) update - I've been using the helpful dark mode, but apparently that hides some text, sometimes. I found it after highlighting the "blank" area of a reply where I couldn't see the reply, just that "text" icon... I switched back to normal, and low and behold, the words magically appeared.
I've be using various forums for over 20 years, I should have known better!

Thank you again, gentlemen.
