I would like to ask… I understand you have a rule saying 5 days before you can sell in classified ads & while I don’t totally agree I do understand the idea there.

What I don’t understand at all is why a new member can’t post in “want to buy”?

I bought a bike need a few things, stock takeoffs really is what i want & was a member here previously for years. Can’t log in to my old one had to make new log in, ok…wait 5 days to ask to buy something???? Makes no sense to me if I wanna help toss members some cash for crap they have laying around collecting dust why should I have to wait?

My guess from answers to people who have ask the same question is they want Harley people who stick around and not someone saleing a part and getting a free listing.

If you remain a member, you may find other rules that don't make sense but the rules are the rules. Respecting the rules and waiting four more days just isn't that hard to do. If there are parts for sale that you are interested in, PM the seller and express your interest; no need to post.

This helps to ensure scammers and spammers don’t join simply to abuse the marketplace.
