no matter what I try I can't add a photo to my signature or upload photos to threads. I got a photobucket account, but something is not working. I have searched the threads and tried what people say. The only thing is I did not choose a size when adding photos to photobucket. Is that the deal? Sometimes it says invalid file and other times it says file to large.
just tried a new thread and no matter how small i make the pic i can not attach it. I am getting very frustrated with this site. It seems like it only works when it wants to.
Thanks, the sig pic worked, but I still can not upload photos even with following the instructions. It says file size to large no matter how small I make it on photobucket.
For adding pictures, don't use the upload section under the advanced tab below because it won't work if you copy the photobucket link into it. That's what it sounds like you are doing to me. If you use the upload section you need to attach the photos from you computer, not photobucket. I don't use the upload section and you shouldn't either. Since you have photobutcket as you move your mouse over the pic you want all these links pop up. Copy the IMG link and paste it directly in the the text in the quick reply below and then you get to do this when done....................
Oh and it doesn't matter what size it is when you upload it to photo bucket. When you copy the IMG link once loaded to photo bucket and paste in the text it will work fine..
As for you sig pic save the picture you want to your desk top or a folder where you know where it is. Right click on the picture, go to "open with" and select paint. When it opens on the tool bar above click on Image and then re-size. I usually re-size down to 25%. Play with it till you are happy with the size then you can have a little bigger sig pic like mine. My pics come off of my Nikkon and the resolution is second from the highest and looking at my pics you can see how clear it is and this is all the stuff I do works fine.
