Why does my Personal Message folder not record sent messages?

You have to check the box on the low left
If you did I have no clue

Go to "My Profile" at the top of the page. When you get in your profile scroll down to the Private Message box and check the box that says "always save sent messages to my out box."

That should take care of your problem.
