I know this has nothing to do with this forum but when I go to Harley's web site the home page will not completely load. the little circle icon in the center just keeps spinning and never ends. I can click on the links at the top and they load. same thing happens when i try to go to the HD ride planner, little circle just keeps spinning. Seems to have happened when I upgraded to internet explorer 9.
I use Firefox and love it but I don't think that's your problem. It sounds like your internet connection. At work we have the most useless internet and I have the same problem with many sites. No problem at home with either of my Dells or my little Toshiba netbook I'm using right now. I have cable internet at home and it's fast as lightening. I get on the wireless at Starbucks on my netbook and it's quite a bit slower but still works pretty well. I've had problems with Harley's site before though. They have so much going on with all the pictures and moving stuff that you have to have a good connection.
I tried Google Chrome and it was not for me. I've downloaded the newest Firefox and love it. I rarely use IE except at work.

Loaded up for me in a flash, both IE9 and Firefox. What do you use for IP provider?

I like fox, the pic below with text and arrow is a snipet of your post, took only a minute.
I can't do that with IE9. My point is the addons and adblocker for fox are what put it above IE9 for me.
Just showing some of the features in case you might find them helpful.
And here's a snip of the above snip.
