Could be my issue but many others have the same problem. Issue started several months ago on my last computer. Same issue on this new one and also on my laptop which is Vista. Absolutely no issues on multiple other forums and websites.
I don't know what to say Steve, I'm running Vista and IE on Fios
and have had no problems in well over a week. If you are still
experiencing problems you may have to solve them on your end.

Well, I just installed Firefox to see if it would make a difference. Yup, the site works fine.
So, it appears that the issue is between this site and IE. My next step is to go to IE9 on my Vista laptop and see if it improves. If not, then on to Firefox there also. Still doesn't explain why the problem only shows up on this site.
Thanks for your help.
Just for the record, I just posted some place else about IE and I stated that it worked fine. I just loaded the forum (in record time) on IE but when I clicked on a section it crashed. Not sure what's going on buy my boss mentioned some "compatibility problem" with the new IE so they must know about it. That's the first time it happened to me though and it might not even be related to what you guys are talking about because I've not had a problem before. I do use firefox though with very little problems. I have both on my little $300 Toshiba 10.1" Netbook and usually don't have a problem. I have two Dell Laptops and my netbook and all seem to be working fine (until today's crash). I just logged in again to IE and it came up fine. Loaded the first section I clicked on (Forum Issues) and then crashed when I tried to click on this thread. There you have it! I'll report it again.
We're looking into the issue right now. Can those of you who are experiencing problems with the site please clear your cache? This website can show you how to do it:

Cache cleared, loaded slow and then crashed (quit working) when I clicked on "Off Topic." Never made it past the opening page.
Thanks Guys

Terry;
Here's a screen shot of off-topic I got at 11:49am 5/22/11. It loaded quick
for me and without clearing anything. I use a Gateway laptop with Vista and
IE9. All kept diligently updated.
Edit: Added a second pic of a post.
Not sure, buttried coming on here this morning with my lap top and got hit by MS removal tool. I tried for hours to remove the stupid thing but nothing would work.
I have also noticed that there is a difference depending on the ad that is running at the top of the page when you first open H-D forums.

Try installing the free malwarebytes and run a full scan. Worked for me.
