Could someone please explain to me, in simple english, why www.hdforums.com it almost impossible for me to open with Internet Explorer, and yet with Mozilla FireFox, it open quickly and no problems at all. Thanks

Those of us who are NOT computer savvy use whatever came with the laptop.
If I DO get IE to work,when I get to:
Downloadingpicturedata:image/gif;base64,AAAA... it just stops the whole works and I have to reboot. Whats up with that?

Please don't take that as a snide remark or a claim that I am computer savvy! It was just a joke, aimed at the truly remarkable (but nevertheless flawed) Bill Gates (much like Windows itself).
Go online and try both Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird which are free. If you like them (and you probably will) use them as your default systems. You have nothing to lose and much to gain.
