Yeah I know what your going to say but it's the only thing I know that will work for IE8 or lower.
Okay gang. I appreciate it. I didn't mean to start an argument session as some have turned this into. Just wanted a yes or no answer. I am not mad that it is having problems nor am I about to start changing my browsing habits or dropping money to get things to work. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me.
And just to clarify, I have surfed the forums with IE, FireFox and Chrome and it has both worked the same on all three as well as had the same problems I've mentioned on all three. Oh yes; and the same is true for my browser on my Android phone.
So long story short; the forums has/had been experiencing problems and it may/may not get fixed soon. Not a big deal, really. At least not to me.
To the person who mentioned trying to post and but instead it asks you to log in; are you taking a long time to write your post? If so that my be a problem. My only real gripe with the forums is how quickly it logs you out if you are inactive. And unfortunately it seems that typing in a text field is considered inactivity by the forums. I mean, cmon! It's not like I am doing my online banking for it to be so quick to shut me down if it thinks I have stepped away. My suggestion is that if you need to write a long response then for you to do it in Microsoft Word or some other such program and take as much time as you like. Once you are ready to post, log in and copy/paste your text into a thread. At least that has worked for me...
