Ok occasionally I get an idea I'd like to share and add photos to, similar to the member who did the SE Compensator step by step with pics. You'd think after 1200 posts I would have figured out how to add photos to a thread. Is there a quick access thread I can access for help?
Thanks,
TUCCI
I like the DIY thread idea with step by step images but not so much as to think we're ignorant. The threads should have skill levels in relation to ones mechanical ability. For instance my mechanical / technical skill level on a scale of one to ten is a solid 8. There are guys and gals out there with more or less as well. I think its a gimmie to think that those who tinker from a tool box are more inclined to get a Harley.
That being said, what would be a topic to start with to test the waters? Maybe upgrading cams with "how-to" in determining whats right for ones driving habits?
Yup-yup on the "illustrations for old guy" statement....as I age, pictures are a bonus. I just hope I don't get so old as to not be able to read pictures lol.
FXD2003Rider - I like the look of having lights up front, ya might wanna have a look at my wifes Dyna with the Fat Boy headlight and spots. Really lights up the road. I put it together for her because she didn't care for the "flashlight" (or as you might say "torch"?), sized light she had as OEM. Easy bolt-on, no mods.
