topic notification
Not sure who takes care of this issue, I did send one email to the contact us link already, but problem is I subscribed to many topics and I'm not getting the " instant email notification " as my account is setup for. Can someone fix this?
Ok I just got off a chat session with my isp provider and got no where even though I know the problem is on there end and the guy basicly said the guy that handles the out going emails from here has to contact the email admin from there end , is this possible for us to once and for all get this issue resolved properly so we don't have to continue putting bandaids on the issue???

yes and we are finding it is the provider blocking the emails from that site because it has so many coming out of it and the provider thinks its spam

We process billions of messages per day. We need details on the environment sending to us to narrow down any investigation, if it is even our issue to investigate. Along with knowledge of the mail environment, we need to know precisely what kind of error message they are encountering (if any) and any additional detail that is pertinent to the issue.

ok I installed windows live mail which allows incoming mail from hotmail account and it works fine

This is not the first time an issue like this has occured, all of them have been resolved by the Mail Admins of the sender contacting our mail admins to resolve the issue.

Basically we need information that you don't have to resolve the issue, only the mail admins of the website will have that. That's why we have mail admins to resolve issues like this, that's their job. If they can't send email they need to contact us and let us know what they are seeing.

Who's your Email server??
I doubt your problems are with the forum, I get all my notifacations
promptly. If your using a free email like hotmail, they have
restrictions that may be interfering. If all your settings are right, you
should have no trouble.
I actually just got off the phone with a shaw tech after a second tech disconnected me from chat. I explained the situation and after putting me on hold 10 minutes he said there is a problem with my ip and they will get it fixed with in 24 hours. So we will see.
