Well I just downloaded adblock.....I think. Not real puter savvy when it comes to all these downloads.
I downloaded chrome other day and it was fast for a couple days now it SUCKS again. If Im in a high traffic thread and I wanna refresh it it wont. I have to close chrome out and re-open HD forums and go find it again. I get on some big forums (bigger than this) and there fast.
Glen,
If your having a problem with Chrome, go to the link
below and search for answers to your particular problem.
I'm on Chrome and have no problems with this site whatsoever.
Hope this helps. >Google Help<
BTW: What forum did you go to big'r than 195,000 members+
Also gotta make sure Adblock is actually blocking the ads. You can click on the stop sign in the upper corner (or wherever yours is) and the drop down will list "block an ad on this page". When you select that you can then select the ad to block and it will ask if things are better, etc., etc... Adblock takes a little learning but once you have it set up, this site is just as fast as any other site out there. I'm like Zap and don't have any issues at all with this site.
Good luck.
