It is 2 am not much traffic on here and the forum looks to be running very slow..Anyone else or is the Moon in a bad place tonight?
From time to time I too have speed issues. My issues are the remote process I use. Example... I use one main computer with internet speeds out of this world. To keep everything in one place I remote into this computer via any other computer I own.
When doing the remote thing, mostly at night, I find the quick reply works best. Trying to use the "reply to thread" has animated icons which slow the bandwidth to nothing. I can type a response and watch the letters being typed as far out as 20 seconds later as if a ghost is typing.
However, when I'm on the main computer this site is as fast as any other out there for me. You know me and you know I'm on several sites. This may not be of any help but for those who do as I do have been fighting network speeds for a long time.
dont know which browser you are using, but I use Firefox. I really dont think its the site and think it might be your browser. Here is what I do. I close the window and close (exit) the browser, restart and usually it works fine ad quick. If it looks like you arent going anywhere, you might also try to stop the page from loading (the x in the address bar) and then reload (refresh the page). Ive done both and works fine. If you have more than one browser, you might also try that, Safari (if you have a MAC) or Chrome, both seem to be faster than Explorer or Firefox.
