Mods don't like Avatars with ugly dogs in it. Just kidding.

Usually the threads have gotten ugly, with pissing contests. Or they break the rules:

Are you sure they were deleted? They may have been moved to a more appropriate thread category.

Both answers are correct.
A Mods job is to pull any post or thread that they feel violates the rules, gets too contentious, or violates the rules in one way or another.
