They are not deleted. Many of these side forums have a time frame that you can search to display threads. For example, at the main screen, go below the display of thread titles and you can choose your display options. Just show threads for the last month for example and you'll see lots of them. After putting in the criteria then you have to click on the button that says "Show threads". Below is what it looks like if you set it for the past ten days.

You sure they arent getting deleted? I posted one that had 3 pages of replies and it disappeared in about a day. I looked under my recent posts, subscribed threads ect. and its nowhere. I wish i could find it. Help me.
Besides what Sarah and 6113 said, sometimes, when several threads about the same subject are posted, the Moderator will combine them with already existing threads that have been posted and have one thread that is several pages long instead of having several threads posted about the same/similar subject.
