Do I have to see a VW pop-up ad every time I look at anything on this forum?!?!
Other than this one annoyance I've found this forum to be very informative and entertaining and even though it won't make a difference to the whole, I believe I would stop frequenting this forum if the pop-up ads can't be stopped.
Kinda like taking me ball and going home.
Please make it stop!!
Thanks,
GSF

To whoever is responsible for HDForums. Your decision to assault our iPads or iPhones with pop up ads is unacceptable. I am NOT in the market for a VW or ever will be. A side ad would be tolerable but to simply provide an annoyance is crazy.
It's easier to block pop ups than change the oil on your bike. Believe it or not it cost a lot of money to provide free sites such as this just make a game out of smashing the pop ups, Whack a Bug.

You can shove this BS up your a$$.
You could trade your Apple I phone in on an Android
phone which would allow you to use an Ad-Blocker.
I have an Android and enjoy reading this forum without
ads.

I was able to block the ads on my iPad--the "VW" ad had a link where an opt-out message was clickable which then made the ads stop. However, each time the cookies are cleared, the ads are supposed to start up again. I don't have my iPad with me nor have I cleared the cache on it, so I can't be anymore specific.

Are you seroius? hahaha, Android is the most pathetic attempt at a smart phone OS I have ever seen.. Complete junk and that is being nice...
BTW, I am not an Apple fan at all, hate them but I have to admit, they have the best phone and tablet on the market hands down...

It does seem that the I phones are the ones grumbling, what's
up with that.
Happy Android owner.

Disagree you might but I come from a tech background and will push electronics to their absolute limit, maybe a Droid is accepatable for a lesser user but they are miserable performers when it comes to real world getting things done..
