Okay, i am sure they will delete this thread to, but have some american first amendment rights, dont be un-American. This is not even a corporate HD site. I am all Harley, Harley engine tat on my back, owned a bike from every harley family line except sportster (Touring, softtail, dyna, vrod) but yesterday i posted what people though on the Indian's. It was up to 8 pages when it was deleted completely, plus it seems all the other threads were locked. WTF is that about. I thought this was a forum for harley guys to talk. I am pretty close to signing out of the HD forums. Unreal, its not like i posted somthing crazy, 8 pages of responses all great. Okay maybe it should have been in anther area. What ever, unreal to all the mods or who ever runs this site
I agree!
It seems like someone got sick of hearing about the INDIANS!
SO, it's another brand, BIG freaking deal!
People should be able to talk about what they want within reason, especially in
off topic. I'm sure this one will get squashed like the others...
BAAAAAAAAAAA HUMBUG!!!
General Harley Davidson Chat Forum to discuss general Harley Davidson issues, topics, and experiences.
Indians, Hondas, Kawasakis etc. have nothing to do with HD. Discussions of those bikes belong in Off Topic.
Also, you don't have any 1st amendment rights here. This is a privately owned and run web forum. The owners make the rules and decide what is and is not appropriate. That is supported by the Supreme court decisions.
Oh yeah, and the Indian threads, all 7 of them, have been moved to Off Topic and merged into one. Go have at it.
Well roadrash, you have to realize that this is a privately owned forum and they ALLOW you to post here. You are certainly entitled to exercise your First Amendment Rights however you may or may not be free to do so in a website funded by someone else.
Seems we have a mod that is a little intimidated by the attention we are giving the Indians. Maybe this should be in another area? But locking threads????
I posted this on another thread asking the same thing and it's just my opinion but it is a Harley site but with so many "non Harley" threads, it was a little more than normal, whatever that may be. So they were locked. Just my opinion.

Man, ya'll just keep poking that snake don't you?
This forum is funded by ads because us the harley riders come here. Losing harley riders will make a dent in those ad sales. I did not even know the off topic thread existed, never ventured there. The thread was not about indians, my thread was to find out what us other harley riders thought of these bikes. They are an american made bike not some foreign crap, competition i believe towards our harley. Its not the owner of the site making these moves, it is the moderators. I am all Harley and was not asking who was buying one, i was asking simply what other harley riders thought of these and if harley should take any of their ideas. Not really off topic but what ever.

Heh, I think some folks forget this wonderful point.
this forum is free...i like that. the advertisers that pay to keep this thing open are selling parts/accessories for harleys. post in the off topic section or keep your trap shut.
