When you click on the send private message link and the box appears look at the line of icons that begin with the 'B' for bold. Thanks, but I've already tried that several times. That Insert Image icon that looks like an envelope --- when you click on it, it asks for a url where the image can be found. I could swear there used to be a paper clip for attaching a pic.
When you click on to post or reply the icons at the top of your message appear.
There is the funky lookin' A followed by a B an I U A globe and a yellow lookin' envelope by the last quote tags tag.
Now, what you have to do is set up a photo hosting site like photo bucket or many others. Once you have done that then you have to upload your pics to your site.
Then, when you have done that you can right click on your pics.
A properties tag comes up when that is done, you copy the URL address and then paste that into the funky lookin' yellow envelope that you click on.
