Default Air shock service question

O.E. air shocks
Watched the videos
Drained the shocks
Cannot refill using the Mity-vac method

I assume you can`t push new oil in because the air in the shock cavity has no place to escape ?

What am I missing ?

Thank you

What about collapsing the shock, connect the oil supply, then expand the shock and suck it right in?

Put them in the trash, they are junk. someone has a nice set of Bitubo's for sale on this forum for 400 but everything is negotiable.

do you have the vacuum port on the correct side?
aka, pulling vacuum on the shock through the down tube of the container, allowing the fluid to be pulled up into the shock. any air leak will thwart the process.
oem bad???
beauty is in the eye of the beholder. mine are 25 years old and fully adjustable and still works like a charm and are OEM and made by showa, to boot are rebuildable.
