Default Please help with rear pads on Ultra

I could use some help from the brain trust. I have an 05 Ultra and am attempting to replace the rear brake pads. The book says to use a scraper to pry the inner pad away from the disc to push the piston in. Anybody got any tricks to accomplish this feat? I can't seem to get any leverage anywhere. Any recommendations from those who have been there would be appreciated.

The easiest way is to put pressure with one hand on the piston and with the other open the bleed screw. Before you do this, you can loosen the bleed screw a bit and wrap a rag around the screw to catch the little bit of brake fluid that will come out. When you feel the piston going in tighten the bleed screw. As long as you tighten the bleed screw while maintaining pressure on the piston you won't have to bleed the system. Even if you do, it's no big deal for the rear brakes.

Thanks for the reply gunnert. I finnaly figured it out last night after staring and cussing at it. My problem was I didn't pull the pin pads out far enough to release the inside pad. Once I realized that, I was able to complete the job in less than an hour and 3 beers
