Brake Pads?
THANKS
Get a strong putty knife, and seperate the pads (1 at a time) from the rotor...
Get them as far into the caliper as possible.....
You need a 1/4" 12 point socket to remove the two little bolt pins holding the pads in place....
Remove the pins and hold the pads in place... Let the inside pad slide down first....
Pay attention to the orientation.....
Remove the outer pad....
Inspect the pins for wallowing, gouging, etc.....
If they are not perfectly round, replace them.....
Reinstall the pads, outer first.....
Install the pins partway to hold the pad in place....
Install the inner pad, while pushing up into the caliper to help the pins travel freely.....
Bottom out the pins, and tighten them up....
Reset your pads by pressing on the brake pedal a few times....
Done.....
Lastly, Invest in a service manual..... as well as an electrical diagnostics Manual... They will pay for them selves the first time you use them.....
