What are some good wide tire kits?I have a 03 softail springer.i heard the P.M. phat tire kit is good any opinions? Also what is the web sight for those lendell z brake pads i cant find them thanks.
www.heartlandbiker.com has really nice wide tire kits, both 180 and 250. any of the kits are going to require you to cut the frame horns off of your frame (the part that the fender struts bolt to). Do you really want to cut on your mint condition frame?
my .02,......don't do it. My opinion is that fat tires are a passing fad, and it's already starting to taper off. I really liked them for the longest time, but the 150 on my Dyna is meaty enough for me.
you could fab up a fender that wouldn't require any cutting on the frame and would still give that look.
