Default 07 dyna right rear axle spacer notch

I replaced my rear tire yesterday on my 2007 dyna fxd superglide and noticed the v- notch on the right side spacer is pointing in instead of out as it was originally. The darn thing kept falling out and on the last attempt to put it back in I must have reversed it!

Does anyone know if I can leave it as is or must I take it off and turn that spacer around? Does anyone know if this has any adverse effect?

Thanks

Default rear axle spacer direction reversed

I phoned two local HD dealers one being way more helpful than the other but they both gave me the same answer. It doesn't matter as both sides are flat. The arrow should be pointing in but it is not necessary to make the change. He told me he had his reversed as well when he did his last rear tire change.

My back thanks them for this information.
