Default Upgrade to Suspension Question

I bought a 2002 1200c Sportster and i am a big guy im 5'11 and 260 .
Looking for some suggestions on upgrading the suspension as i live in Norther Arkansas and some of the side roads can be a little rough. It has an aftermarket seat and it rides real well but shocks have bottom out a couple times.

Without a budget, it's hard to give advise...

Cheep as possible would be buying used touring air shocks and progressive springs.
Both for under 200 bucks.

I did ricor intimidators on the front and ricor shocks in the back for a total of 825 and I think it was worth every penny.

You can pick up the ricors intimidators for the front end for around 179 and the are simple to install and make a world of difference in the front.

With your weight, it would be best to have shocks built for you. Olins and ricor both do that.

I put a set of progressive 412 hd on my 2004 Sportster. I really like the way they work for me. I bought the 12" on e-bay for $ 199.95 and free shipping. Hope this help.
