Default Alignment

I have noticed ever since I've had my Ultra that when cruising down the road, my front end seems to be slightly turned to the right. I have tried to check the wheel alignment, and can't seem to see anything wrong. I am wondering if this is a common issue or am I missing something? I can set the cruise control and let go of the bars, and the bike will still track straight. This bugs me to no end. Should I be concerned about this?

It's more than likely the alignment of the bars into the tripple tree. You can loosen the riser bolts a bit and straighten the bars to align with the front end. A very common thing. I had to do it on my bike also. They do not waste too much time setting bikes up when they are put into service to get everything dead on. Close enough is good enough for them.

My Softail is the same. I guess I've gotten used to it.

Thanks guys, I will try not to let it bother me too much. I'll look at the bars soon, as I intend to play with the handlebar position a bit. If I can't get them into a better feeling position, I'll probably try the chubbies that Mac used on his scoot. Also, the grips have got to be changed!

Mine was the same as well. I loosened off the the risers and the clamp as well. It took a bit of holding in place while I tightened everything back up but it is perfect now.

I checked the centre of the grips to the centre of the front axle with a tape measure either side to make sure I was on the right track as well.....
