This is an old video from the early 90's about this year and model in the bright saphire sun-glo blue.

Ran 12 inch shocks for a little bit and went to 14.5 and the handling was night and day. Definitely going up was the right move.

Thanks for your input mikelectic. The original shocks were in a box brand new when I acquired the bike, so they are on the bike now as you can see by the pics. It handles very nicely just like the moco designed it to for this model.

Back in the years following the release of the fxrs convertible the complaint was the rubber wellnuts would eventually loosen and the saddlebags would fall part way off causing a hazardous situation while riding or fall completely off ruining, damaging or losing the bag. To correct this situation the MoCo. came up with an upgraded mounting kit 90730-95. The kit consists of 3 new *****, 2 fastener clips and 3 stainless steel threaded wellnuts. The wellnuts need to be installed with a brass hammer to eliminate any damage to the wellnuts and receptacles. Once in they can't come loose which is the whole object. Once the bags ***** are mounted in the threaded wellnuts the fit is tight and complete.

Great Upgrade right there.. If My bags were in that good condition!!! Were they simply taken care of??? or restored???
I sure would like to know a Method to Restore those Semi-Soft Bags!! Mine got very Stiff!!!
