Change the oil and filter, top up the tank, wash n wax, cover up, and roll into the trailer, put the charger on, and stay pissed till I can get it out in the spring. Also, no getting stupid and trying to start so I can listen to it during winter months, not good for it.

But that's not happening yet !

I break out my thermals, my big gloves, my SWAT mask and my leathers and chaps.

Winter storage for me in MN basically means Sea Foam in gas tank and battery tender. No problems so far.

Here's what happens when you spray the bike down with WD-40.
WD-40 attracts dust.
Dust attracts moisture.
Moisture attracts rust.
Get the drift here?

My winter prep consists of digging out my long sleeve T-shirts. If it is really brisk, maybe my leather jacket.

I wash the bikes, wax it, fill tanks with a gas stabilizer, put a tarp down on the garage floor, roll the bikes on it and cover them up with a breathable bike cover. In regards to the batteries, they are always on a Battery Tender all year round.
