Went Wednesday afternoon and got home today. Visited the t-Shirt areas but spent most of the time riding. Know that 2 didn't make it on one nasty corner on 12 outside of Rogers. Saw a guy land in the ditch Friday, but he jumped right up.
Great riding down there. This was our 3rd BB&Q, will be back again
I've ridden that road more times than I can number. Like every road here, there is no forgiveness beyond the fog line or double yellow either. It used to be a local secret, but now a lot of rider's maps have it listed. Between the lake and Hwy 127 is my favorite road anywhere. RIP for the 2 riders.

That was noted by us too. Lots of young parents thought it was cool to navigate their double wide stroller down the crowded sidewalks at 10:30 at night with noise levels approximating an unsuppressed chainsaw.
This was my 3 trip to BBBQ and this was the first time that it seemed to be all about the revving while on Dickson St.. I did get to test ride a Indian Chieftain (nice - not for me). The parade of power was lame!
I attended the BBB Rally as well. 2nd time. Got there Thursday night. Rode all day Friday, Checked out the Pig Trail and Baum Stadium area Saturday and went down to Dixon St. Saturday night. Had a great time. I too wonder why there needs to be all that revving of the motors going down Dixon. Gets very obnoxious after a while. And I have no clue as to why someone would take their children to something like that. During the day time maybe, but the children should be at home after dark.
tried to hook up with Nevada72 while we were there, just wasn't in the cards though.
Arrived on Thursday and stayed till Sunday. We did Dickson on Friday when it wasn't so crowded. Did Baum early Saturday and then got out of town to ride. We went up to Eureka Springs and over toward Harrison. I go up there 3 or 4 times a year and avoid the Pig Trail on weekends, especially if something is going on in the area. I just don't trust the newbies on curves like that. Besides, there are plenty of great roads with much less traffic.
This was our 3rd year, the weather was beautiful the riding incredible but Dickson did seem to get a little out of hand on Saturday we called it an early night and was back at the hotel by 10:30pm with a bottle of Crown , good friends, and a great college football game.
Got there Wednesday evening (stayed in Eureka Springs). Rode around Thursday without issue. Picked the wife up at Rogers airport Friday morning, stopped by the Harley dealer in Rogers to pick up some shirts then rode east to Harrison, up 7 to Peels Ferry, over to Branson and back to ES for the evening. Rode to Baum Stadium Saturday morning with some friends, got the hell out of there pretty quick and rode the Pig Trail and associated roads and back to ES for the evening. Came home Sunday.
I can honestly say that this year, people seemed to be full of the dumbass. I've never seen so many 50 y/o adolescent dumbass's in a long time. And that includes Sturgis last year. I'm not much for crowds.
First trip for us. Unfortunately we were one of first on scene of bad accident on AR 59 south of Siloam Springs a ways. Horrible sight that I won't soon forget. Hope the gentleman made it. We followed another pair of riders thru Pig Trail later in day that went across both lanes thru a switchback. We don't do many rallies, hope this isn't the norm.
