does anyone have any knowledge or experience with a j&s airlift jack. i like the idea of air. can it also be used manually? i want buy soon winter is coming , so i can put bike on the lift in the corner. thanks for all help.

Yes and yes. Just takes more pumps when operated manually vs the manual versions only.

I own an air operated Pitbull dyna model and it does the same thing. Just takes a lot of pumps. I also own the J&S non air version too and it pumps faster.

I have a J & S manual jack. Strong, stable enough for me to climb on the bike while it's in the air, no straps, and lowers very gently. I don't have experience with the air lift, but I can't imagine it performing poorly.

+1 for the J&S. Mines not air operated, and, I bought it used, but, I'll never buy another HF or sears jack......Ya get what ya pay for..........
