I am no expert on tuners but I have some knowledge on them..

Nor do I know Doc and I've never talked to him

I do know I've had my SERT or Race tuner (its fully tuneable with over 2300 adjustments) since 07. That was the only time my tuner has touched it was when I added cams at 15K.. The SERT has given me a great tune and I haven't touched for the last 38K

Now, there's the Newer SEpST that replaced the older SERT that's also fully tuneable.

My point is --- You said you have the "SEST" or the Street Tuner. Which is not fully tuneable and from what I've read on it, its really nothing more than a tuner with 27 different downloads. IN other words it can't fully tune a motor. It can only download what's inside of it which is like a dealer Download.

So With the understanding I have,, if its right.. I could see why one of the best tuners around would call the ""SEST"" JUNK.. Because it won't let the tuner actually tune the motor.. If you want a SE tuner that can fully tune then you'd need the SEpST

Now the rest of how he acted,, well it seems you two just didn't jive very good...

"When I was getting my Road Glide dynoed by Doc in Jan 2012, he told he never rides a customer's bike on or off his dyno. "

Very important piece right there as I remember Doc making the same statement when I had my street glide tuned June 2014. He had me ride my bike on and off dyno as well. Something doesnt seem right about the OP's original claim.

I've recommended several riders to Doc. All of them had only praises for the man.

I was at Doc's shop this afternoon. I just bought a 2015 FLTRSE. Doc was his same nice guy self as usual. I will have him install his TTS Dyno Tune some time later this month. He also did the tune on my 2012 FLTRU. Personally I like Doc. He has always been a gentleman on the phone or in person. Likewise I have been the same to him. He is one of the few great tuners in the country and I consider it my good fortune to know him.
