Seems every so often there is a thread on things that " go thunk" and other questionable noises our beloved steeds make. There is currently one on compensator noise.
So, I thunk to myself..." Hmm...I wonder what a normal vs. a bad compensator sounds like?". After further thunking...I thought it might be interesting for folks in the know to record and post normal sounding Harley noises in the suspect areas. The few that first come to mind:
- compensator
- primary chain slap
- clunk into 1st gear from neutral
- valve train noise
- rear seat rider when you take a turn too fast
the bump of a her helmet hitting yours... little off subject..her grabbing you and pushing a little like she is puttin on the breaks cause she thinks you're not going to stop in time..
