I've noticed how you slither out from under your rock whenever you feel someone needs to be given their comeuppance. But I see no need to get down in the dirt, I'll just thank you for your your thoughts and ask is there anything I can help you with?

I rest my case.

Left turning drivers seem like they are out to kill us all. They are exactly the reason why I won't ride without a helmet anymore, even through I live in a green state.

I don't think it will be too long before cars are equipped with a collision avoidance system that will help prevent this sort of thing. Careless drivers who injure or kill people should do time.

How is a "collision avoidance system" going to overcome physics?
"Doing time" for what most 12 person juries consider an accident?
What hurts more? 30 days in jail or a 2 million dollar judgment against you?

IMHO -Smart!!
My son rides, has been since old enough to ride a dirt bike. He did rider education when he was old enough. Friends that have seen him on the road say he's a safe rider. Does his racing at track days.
STILL after 4 yrs on the road I still get a feeling in my stomach when he goes riding. Especially at idiot hours. The fooking old people and the dumb pshite cell phone azzwholes in both my neighborhoods in NJ and Fla kill way to many of us.
God forbid one of these POS hurts one of mine.
Eye for an eye. ABSOPHUCKINLUTELY!!!

Some car manufacturers are already in the process of designing driverless
cars. Whose responsible then? Or are we to believe we'll have perfect drivers at that point.

We already have driverless cars, they are all over the place.
Seriously though, how does a LEO write a ticket to a driverless car?

You raise an interesting point. Ticket the software manufacturer? Ticket the builder of the vehicle? There are attorneys everywhere just waitin' for the first pedestrian/vehicular accident death.

It's the drivers fault, yes, but the way I see guys ride it's also no wonder they get taken out by this. Doesn't surprise me a bit.
