The heim joints are worth they're weight in gold any, and every time
that you have thirty five thousand miles on your stock linkage, and you
are over a hundred miles from home. Ask me how I know this for a fact,
this was the first mod I had done to my bike the same day I signed all
the papers and shook hands with the salesman, but I got round one for
about eighty dollars. Yours looks awesome Keep It.

Looks awesome, of course I'm a little partial since I put the exact same linkage on my roadglide along with the matching heel toe shifter levers and rear brake lever.

And, of all the things to worry about failing on a new bike, that wouldn't be it.

I think you are rationalizing buying more chrome.
