HAHA kinda creeped me out for a second! I'm a tiny person lol. But motorcycles make me soooo happy. I've always wanted one even though I'd never been on one. Then My boyfriend got another one and I've been on it with them and now the love is reallll. I can't wait to have the freedom on a bike.
Ahhhhhhh.

If it's a Sportster skip the 883 and go for a 1200, they're the same bike, size, weight, etc. so the 883 offers no advantage except it's a little cheaper. On a bike that heavy you'll soon want more power than the 883 delivers. Just my opinion.
Agreed. If you've never ridden before, take the course first. My guess is the 250s that they use will more than enough. Remember, you want to actually learn how to ride.

For some a sportster might not be a good starter bike. But others have done just fine on them. My wife is 5'2" and started on an 883 Low. She also took the advanced rider course on it just two months after getting her license. We lowered it a bit and replaced the seat with one that sat her lower. She has been riding it for almost 4 years now and has not had any issues with it. Last year she test rode a new Deluxe and stated that she preferred her Sportster and did not want a new bike.

Also just to set a few things straight with the proper technique she can lift a bike if it has dropped. I saw her lift a fatboy at the dealer when they had a free class for women.
