Did the phrase "Here, hold my beer and watch this" come into play?
Just asking based on experience, although it wasn't my tailbone.
I was so drunk I don't know who held my beer, so drunk it did not hurt until I sobered up, she was worth it. Let me see if I can remember her name,,,,,humm.
Think about her every time I sit down and smile;-)

If you were THAT drunk, and your back side hurt that bad the next morning, are you sure she didn't get weird and use a broom stick or other object on you?
Just Saying,,,,,,
Oh man I feel your pain. I fractured mine 2 years ago in May on a rope swing at the lake. It's painful, hurts to move, hurts to do anything. I couldn't even get in the car to go to the store for the first 2 or 3 days and it was straight up painful to drive for a week or 2 after that. I could still feel it while driving 3-4 weeks later but not as bad. I was off the bike for about 6-7 weeks and when I got back on it, I couldn't stay on it as long as I liked. It get's better though. At least it's winter time.
What helped me though the first few days was beer. Didn't take any pain pills.
Good luck!

I broke mine when I first learned how to snowboard, and it hurt to sit for the first two weeks. I felt like it was close to two months before I felt close to normal again.
at least it's winter I suppose, but I'm in Nor. California and the weather has been pretty good..... sucks to miss some riding..... thanks for the stories though, good to know it'll heal......it hurts though, it's pretty rough driving a car ... ah well, crackin a beer right now!

Or, did she have an Adam's Apple?
OP, good luck. I've heard tailbone fractures hurt. The story, though, reminds me of the time I tried to use a pogo stick no-handed.
