I've been to Seattle numerous times (have family there, and love the area) but have not yet had the opportunity to ride -- maybe this year, so I'm taking notes.
Ok, here is my initial plan. All you good folks from the area please let me know if I'm wasting my time anywhere or if there are better routes or different areas that would be better to see.
Day#1: Eastside Harley Davidson to Winthrop, WA - East on Hwy 2, north on Hwy 97, west on Hwy 20.
Day#2: Winthrop, WA to Port Angeles, WA - West on Hwy 20, west Hwy 101.
Day#3: Port Angeles, WA to Aberdeen, WA - South on Hwy 101
Day#4: Aberdeen, WA to Cascade Locks, OR - South on Hwy 101, south on Hwy 105, East on Hwy 30, East on 14
Day#5: Cascade Locks, OR to Eastside Harley - North on NF-23, east on Hwy 12, west on Hwy 410
I was just on hwy 105 last week. Really a nice hwy on a bike. If you got a little time, Westport is a great fishing town to stop at for a little break. Looks like you will have a great time.
I sure wouldn't backtrack from Winthrop. Drop out thru Pateros, Wenatchee, Ellensburg...take the canyon to Yakima, west on 410 to Mt Rainier, out to hwy 12 one way or another. Take usfs rd 25 south off hwy 12 in Randle, up and around St Helens, out thru the gorge or woodland and I-5, west out of Longview to the coast Astoria, or Long beach. and run 101 back north or how ever much time ya got left may decide............Now that's a Washington Loop

Day 1
Alternate route take Hwy 153 to Twisp then on to Winthrop. It is more scenic then Loop Loop Pass. 2 east is beautiful following the river into Leavenworth. Good choice.
Day 2-Check the ferry schedule for the Keystone Ferry to Port Townsend. Pt Townsend is a more happening town than P.A. music food etc
Day 3- Are you riding west on 101 to Forks or South on 101 to Shelton ?Just a suggestion but the ride along Hood Canal on 101 is outstanding. Through the rain forest is not as scenic.
Day 4- Great route along the Ocean and Grays Harbor!
Day 5 -Riding 2 up on a Forest Service road can be real bumpy and slow. I prefer Hwy 97 north to either Hwy 12 (White Pass)scenic views or HWY 410 (Chinook Pass) come down the side of a mountain. Spectacular!
You will have a blast!!!!!!!!!!!
