Maui Jim model Kahuna are the best. I've had the same pair for almost 10 years. I also have some plastic frame Maui Jim models and a few pair of Tifosi's (great for the price with lifetime warranty) but the Kahuna's are my favorite.
Before I started wearing glasses, I used Tinted Uvex safety glasses, they lasted me years.
Now wear prescription welding glasses.

I have a pair of Wiley X but I barely wear them anymore after I bought a pair of sunglasses and clears with a foam seal from Gander Mountain Sports for about $15 each. I don't know the brand, and don't care. Had them for over a year now and wish I never spent $75 on the Wiley X's. What a waste of money that was. I honestly cannot see how the Wiley X's are any better in any way then these $15 glasses.
Being that I'm cheap, and ride an Ultra, I get by with Remington Shooters sunglasses for day, and yellow lens for night. Recently, I started wearing prescription glasses, so I order them in an aviator style frame with Transitions lens, which does it for me.
That said, I still get some air in my eyes and the occasional piece of dirt, but that's okay. I pay about $8 per pair. Safety glasses work well at night too.
I used the cheapos with the foam, forever. Now that I have my first ever windshield, I can use my oakleys that we found laying in the middle of our road. Very little wind compared to no windshield.
