That is a biased remark. You wear the helmet, that's your choice but to call anyone an idiot tells me a lot about you.
Cross country, yes, I wear one. Night time, yes, I wear one. Out and about locally, now bear in mind I live in the country, I go lidless.

I'm having a hard time finding a helmet that's full face and goes well with my harley. Everything and I mean everything I swear I've looked at hundreds, seems to be geared toward sport. I just want a good full face. What do you wear and how do you like it?
You have got to be kidding me, doesn't go with you Harley? Wow. For ****'s sake, fashion victim much? Why not get a real full face helmet and quit worrying about how you look at bike night and get some real protection? After years of track riding I'm wearing a Bell Star Carbon Fiber full face with a Transitions face shield and could care less how it looks, anyone stupid enough to worry about what I'm wearing and how it looks deserves the face plant they'll one day have, wear what you want and quit being concerned about 'fashion'...

Always... This helmet thing just gets me riled up, I've binned enough bikes on track over the years to know how important a helmet is, and we're talking fashion in this thread, how do I look, does this helmet make my butt look fat? Wow, easy to see who's never actually thrown a bike into the weeds...

Understood and agree. Unfortunately HD and fashion hooked up years ago, sad really

Most accidents happen with in 5 miles of your home!! I can't tell you how many patients I have seen, and also done numerous autopsies on motorcycle crash victims. Only difference between life and death most of the time is Helmet. Its a problem esp with Harley riders. I am an avid biker having built and own many Harleys so I am not sitting on the fence and making fun of people.

You're so right, earlier today I was on a great ride with 2 friends, took the day off from work, 300 miles of beautiful northern woods and curves, stopped at a gas station and this character at the station says to to me, 'lots of armor you're wearing'... I told him, the asphalt doesn't care what you were riding when you hit it, she just tears you up. I love and live for the ride, it's my world but no interest in what the road can do to me if I have an off...
Unfortunately I think some of you have the wrong idea. I in fact don't care what people think. Having met pavement very personally in the past I pick safety over being cool.
With that said maybe my wording was off. I'm having difficulty finding something that doesn't overly scream sports bike. I knew this would be the place to ask for suggestions of course. And I have sense taken a liking to the HJC IS-MAX 2 Modular Helmet. But I am open to more suggestions so keep them coming
