is it a good idea to add a couple ounces of seafoam to your gas, every 5000 miles to keep her clean?

It cant hurt, I think its recommended to use 1 oz per gallon. Depending on how long your bike sets you might would want to add it more often

Seafoam is a great product. I've used it in boat motors for years. I use it in all my small engines as winter draws near. It is a good fuel stabilizer also. I buy it at the local NAPA parts store.

My bike only sets when I sleep. Gas don't get old that way.

Are you all talking about that crap that gets swept into coastal towns and burring cars and small buisnesses?

I jsut put gas in it and ride the thing, lol.

Plus "Seafoam" sounds kinda ghey to be included inteh same sentance as "Harley". just my 2 pennies

seafoam has been on the market for over 50 years it was originally used heavily on boats that submerged in storms the boats were raised draned of oil and gas dosed heavily with the stuff and restarted many a boats were saved from being torn down and rebuild. it is some of the best stuff on the market

Buy a good grade of gas.

Keep your tank full.

Ride the Hell out of it.

If you got to let it sit more than a couple weeks, add some.
