Maybe you should have gotten a Prius.

Maybe you should learn proper English! No need to be an ***.

I get between 40 and 45 mpg. However, I ride 1 up only, weigh 120 pounds (but always have 20-30# of gear and stuff with me), and ride mostly surface roads at 40-50 mph. Bike was bought used, so unsure what it has besides the 103 and V&H slip-ons. Did get a tuner with the bike, but looks like stock air cleaner, so probably pretty much stock otherwise.

I get around 43 mixed driving to work and 48 highway at 65. No modes yet. On my 2011 Road King with Stage 1, Fuelmoto 2-1-2 head pipes, 4.5 pro touring slip on and PV map I would get 52 mpg.

I ride a sportster, but I have noticed shift points make a big difference.

WHAT!!!??? From the posts I read I figured that was the point of being on here. 90% BS, 10% useful info. ALL, peppered with wise cracks. I love it. If you don't have thick skin I guess it can get annoying. Terri will jump in if it gets out of hand.

Your Ultra weighs quite a bit more than your dyna does. Don't expect comparable mpgs. Depending on the wind (direction and speed), I average 40-50 mpg also on the highway. But that is at 70 or below. When I get on the turnpike at speeds of 75 - 80 mph, mileage does drop pretty good.

I historically get terrible mileage. I live in an urban stop-and-go riding environment. With my current Stage 1 1200C, I average about 27 mpg. 30 if I throw in some 95 riding. On the slab I'll get about 43 mpg. Less if I cruise over 80.

Most of my miles are on the Super-Slab at 80 MPH. I get 35 MPG just about on the nose.

35 mpg was considered pretty good on my stock 07 ultra. Never did any racing but could not reach the mpg some people here claim.
