Used fabric softener dryer sheets work great. I keep the fairing waxed regularly. During love bug season, a used dryer sheet takes them right off.

As others have send, I use warm water and a natural sponge.

Boom, the bugs are gone!

Take a towel -- or an old t-shirt. Soak it with water and lay it over the buggy areas. Wait ten minutes or so, and wipe off the bugs. Easy and cheap.

This works as well as anything else:

Take an old Windex or Glass Plus bottle, rinse it out and fill it with tap water.

Spray the water on the affected area -- give it a good fogging.

Let it sit for a couple of minutes.

Wipe off GENTLY with a soft cloth...

I believe you'd find that if you used the 50/50 mix of water and HP instead of just water, it would work even easier/better ...

Damp microfiber towel (water), heated in the microwave. Bugs come right off.

Spray Deep Woods Off! on it so they will avoid the windshield.
